Tyterope originated in early January 2007. The five-piece rock outfit originally began by entering a talent show performing Lynyrd Skynyrd's esteemed Southern rock anthem 'Free Bird'. After winning the talent show, we decided that perhaps it would be worth continuing as a band. We have worked towards learning and performing cover songs and eventually writing our own original songs as well. We've began to play small local gigs and expose ourselves to the ever-growing music scene. We are currently trying to establish a name for ourselves in the (almost now underground) Southern rock breed, but certainly are not limited to such. Tyterope is dedicated to trying to bring a seemingly dying breed of music back to fruition.
