Recording has been rescheduled for the second or third week of May. Songs are coming along real nice, cover art is absolutely KILLER, people seem to be looking forward to it - heres hoping aye?
And can i just say, don't judge our sound by that absolutely shitty Roots cover - we sound absolutely nothing like that, its just something to fill up space haha.
Well its been quite a weird few days for us... we've had the good, the bad and the awesome. Allow me to fill you in....
The Good - I finally managed to get somewhere with the writing! I've got one song thats pretty much done and the other three are comiung along slowly but sure.
The Bad - We can't get ahold of our friend Dicky, who was supposed to be playing drums on the recordings. This is fucking GAY because we need a drummer!!
The Awesome - There are VERY high chances that our official logo and cover art will be done by none other than Lee Gaskins, who did the artwork for Evile's "All Hallows Eve" EP and their "Hell" demo. Awesome or fuckin' what?!
I was hella stoked to recieve an email from Lee, hes such a legend. We're still in discussions amongst ourselves on what we want though, as he offered us a logo and front+back covers for $300 (which to us brits is about 200 quid), but said that he had the original cover for Evile's "Enter the Grave" readily available. He offered us the logo + that for about $200. Anyone gonna help us here?
All in all, a mixed bag of events but we're totally and utterly stoked that Lee was up for the cover art, we're stoked that some songs are finally coming along, but we're pissed off that we haven't heard from Dicky.
I hope he calls us or something sometime soon, wer love that guy
Recording is currently scheduled for the 7th, 8th and 9th of April. Tentative song titles set to appear are 'Reverence', On the Frontlines', 'The Plague' and 'Your Grave'. A set of two or three cover songs are also scheduled to be recorded.
The release date is set to be May 20th 2008. All information is scheduled to change, but this is our estimate for the time being. The official cover art, track listing and release date is still pending. Watch this space and send us a shitload of comments and love and stuff, because we're awesome like that
