Ich Hatt' Einen Kameraden is a militaristic ambient band, dealing with the beating heart of war, and subsequent death.
Ich Hatt' Einen Kameraden comes from a Ludwig Uhland poem, later placed to an older German folk song, inspired by the Tyrolian struggle against Napoleon.
Despite the frequent allusions to Nazi Germany, we are in no way affiliated, associated, combined, conjoined, attending to, coexistent, synergetic, an ancillary or belonging to, agreeing with, participating in, synchronal, banded with, dependent on, linked with, united, akin to, bound by, allied or in league with, or in any way amalgamated with such a cause. Interest and intrigue are ours, actions and ideals are another path entirely.
We've recently signed with Hydra Records to release our upcoming album, tentatively titled "Kampfstoff LOST." We look foward to working with Hydra, as we're very excited to release our work, and maybe even do some live performances.
