"I was blown away by Eternal Hour. No disrespect to the other bands that played tonight , but I have seen the future of Atlanta Progressive Metal and it is Eternal Hour. I know this is a bold statement but after seeing them live and listening to their songs on their Myspace page, The Guitar Virtuoso combo of Alex Foretich and Nathan Smith are tight, intricate, technically advanced and their sound meshes together, trading leads like some of the great guitar combos in Metal today. What the scary thing is about this is that Alex is 16 years old and Nathan is 19. This much talent at this young age, and thinking about how much time they have to improve, has me thinking that this band will be huge if they stay together. This was their second show with their new singer Kevin Gibson. Kevin came out and belted out vocals reminiscent of Matt Barlow of Iced Earth The rhythm section of Ty Jones, drums and Nick Best, bass kept everything together with their tight playing. They cite they’re influenced by Dream Theater, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Iced Earth among others. And from what I’ve seen and heard, I predict that they will be playing along side them in the future."
