I love and draw tons of influence from the jazzy hip-hop of the 90s such as Common or A Tribe Called Quest, as well as from Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and all the be-bop greats. Inside jungle, I love guys like Alex Reece or Pressure Rise for their earthy jazzy sound, but I also find myself listening to a lot of techy material like Optical & Ed Rush or Noisia. Finally, a good deal of my sound is rooted in house, and its jungle derivitive, liquid funk. All of these come together, combined with my surroundings, and non-musical art such as movies or paintings, to create the Eraserhead sound: Highly organic, yet so clean its almost artificial sounding.
