maybe it'd be okay
forcing out words to embellish my character
fluids and bones resemble a man
the peasants will riot
there is no future here

a cough comes out dusty
and lands on the ground
and your flags will wave proudly
as long as there's wind outside
a shoe comes off gently
and i lie down peacefully
there was a chance,
a tired opportunity
a doctor can tell you when you may die
but you'll never feel the damge you've left behind

the new world is fresh
and seeping with life
brazen and confident
i need not take part in this
the bones will all crack
and the fluids will dry
you can sort through the stones
